As part of our 5.0 release, an Operations Dashboard was introduced to allow users to track the cost and capacity of production VDI/DaaS environments. As part of our 5.1 release, the Dashboard was expanded to also include a Performance section. Users can access the new Cost, Capacity and Performance Dashboards from the Dashboards title of Virtual Appliance.
Within these dashboards, users can view a plethora of graphs and charts that provide real-time visualizations of the collected data. As a result, users can now gain enhanced visibility into system performance, quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise, and make informed, data-driven decisions based on the valuable insights offered by these dashboards.
However, users can effortlessly switch between the two dashboards, select a single environment or view the aggregated data from all of them in read-only mode. Each dashboard also provides a way to select desired time range, refresh the dashboard, zoom in or out of the view. These options can be found at the top right corner of the dashboard, and are shown below.

Cost
The Cost dashboard shows the cost considerations of the selected environment, displaying the following:
- Capital and Operational Expenditures of an environment
- Expected Users (VSIMax) and Actual Users
- Capacity Monitors (Number of Load Tests assigned to the environment)
- Performance Monitors (Number of Continuous Tests assigned the the environment)
- Budgeted Cost (CapEx + OpEx)
- Budgeted Cost Per User (Budgeted Cost / Number of Expected Users)
- Current Cost Per User (Budgeted Cost / Number of Actual Users)
- Costs By Type (% CapEx, % OpEx)
- Tabular breakdown of cost by environment (Sorted by Descending Cost)
- Costs By Environment (Each Environment's Total Cost as % of Total Costs)
- Cost Per User Trends (including Budgeted Users and Actual Users)
Capacity
The Capacity Dashboard displays the current state of the selected environment's capacity, displaying the following:
- Number of Expected and Actual Users
- Capacity Monitors (Number of Load Tests assigned to the environment)
- Used Capacity (Actual Users / Expected Users)
- Remaining Capacity Percentage (100 - Used Capacity in %)
- Remaining Capacity (Expected Users - Actual Users)
- Capacity Trends (including Expected Users and Actual Users)
Performance
The Performance Dashboard displays the current state of the selected environment's user experience, displaying the following:
- Average EUX Score of the selected environment over the selected timeframe
- Average EUX Score Compared to Previous
- Example scenario:
- My average EUX Score over the last 24 hours is 9.25.
- Compared to the previous 24 hour bucket (24-48 hours ago) the average is 2.25 higher
- My average EUX Score over 24-48 hours ago was 7.0
- Example scenario:
- Average EUX Score for each test associated with the selected environment over the selected timeframe in tabular breakdown
