Restoring a Login AM environment
While creating a backup, the Login AM Updater will create zip files of the previous version in the Backups folder on the Login AM share.
This allows you to restore the Login AM software to the previous version using the Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features dialog.
Alternatively, you can start the appwiz.cpl from the Start Menu.
The dialog depicted above shows that we have performed an update, to version 2.4.89.1 on the following components:
Automation Machine 2015 - dev
Automation Machine 2015 - Environment Manager
Automation Machine 2015 - Template environment
On the Automation Machine share, the following files will appear in the Backups folder:
AMRollback.exe - The rollback executable
Environment Manager.zip - Backup of the Environment manager
00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001.zip - Backup of the Template environment
Depending on your choice, while updating and creating backups, the folder may also contain a backup of the last version of one or multiple environments, for example: 4ad9aa29-0fdb-4f1d-af29-3801404cff20.zip Backup of environment - dev
