Overview

You can add multiple applications to Login Enterprise at once using a small utility called Login Enterprise Application Onboarding Utility. This Windows Application runs on any Windows OS and scans the local system for Applications through shortcuts.

Login Enterprise Application Onboarding Utility

The shortcut locations that are scanned are %APPDATA%\Microsoft\windows\Start Menu and %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu. 

To create the apps you need to:

  • Know the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of your appliance.
  • Create a Configuration Token within the Login Enterprise web interface.

Creating an access token

  1. In the Login Enterprise sidebar menu, navigate to Other > External notifications.
  2. In External notifications, select Public API.
  3. In Public API, click the green "+" on the right to create a new system access token.

Using the Login Enterprise Application Onboarding Utility

Once you have the FQDN and Configuration Token, launch the Login Enterprise Application Onboarding Utility. 

  • Click Scan to scan for applications. 
  • In FQDN, provide your FQDN
  • In API Token, provide your token. 
  • Select the applications you wish to edit. You can multi-select by holding down the CTRL or Shift key.
  • Click Create to create the desired applications.
