Login VSI - Encryption technology used

Symptom

Information is necessary to be provided to security teams regarding the type of encryption that Login VSI utilizes in our products.

Cause

Security requests must be substatiated before implementation of a new software solution into a production environment.

Resolution

Login VSI utilizes the following types of encryption throughout the software.

We have our own RC4 implementation.  This is implemented in the following components:

• Management Console - Password Storage
• Launchers
