The italian language is not out-of-the-box supported in login vsi. The primary reason is that the save command is different than normal windows OS'. In a normal Windows OS the save command is "Ctrl+S". In the italian language its "Ctrl+B". This renders all save actions within the workloads useless and will cause every session to get stuck.
To fix this you can change all save commands, ^s and {ctrldown}s{ctrlup} to ^b and {ctrldown}b{ctrlup}.
However please note that the actions within Freemind still need to be unchanged. So the save command in freemind is still ctrl+s.
Attached are the files necessary to configure the italian language and workloads that support the italian language.
How to:
- Unzip the files
- Close all Login VSI applications / tests
- Create a backup of the existing Language.csv in the "\\server\VSIShare\_VSI_Configuration\_CurrentTest" folder
- Copy the Language.csv in to the "\\server\VSIShare\_VSI_Configuration\_CurrentTest" folder.
- Copy the two workloads to the "\\server\VSIShare\_VSI_Workloads\Custom Workloads" folder.
- Open the Login VSI Management Console and go to the "Workload > Settings > Languages and Version" section and change the language to Italian.
- Go to Test "Setup > Scenario" and select one of the two italian workloads
- Run a test
